the moment we entered the dealership to the time we left, the entire experience

People who own Jeep® Grand Cherokee Diesel are the
kind of people who goes on the road for a countryside tour. Most of the time
you see a Jeep® Grand Cherokee on the road, it will be towing something like a
camper, a trailer, or a boat. This is quite understood considering the fact
that the Grand Cherokee was really made for this sort of thing. If you are an
owner and would like to tow something then you better make sure that you are
towing it the right way. You must put in mind the manufacturer’s specifications
in towing so you can rest assured that your cargo arrives safely.
A Jeep® Grand Cherokee has a maximum towing
capacity of 3500kg. It is also equipped with the Trailer Sway Control to
minimize excessive trailer sway. It works in such a way that whenever the car
senses the trailer swaying, it will slow down to counteracts the swaying
motion. One thing you have to remember though is that you should never overload
your Cherokee or the trailer itself.
Tips in Towing
1.
Familiarize yourself with towing with a load. You
may take advantage of enrolling yourself to driving schools so you can learn
how to drive while towing loads with varying weights.

When towing something, never overload your car or
your trailer/object you tow. This will make sure that you will have optimal
control of the vehicle at all times.
3.
Don’t overwork your trailer hitch. Always make
sure you follow your manufacturer’s instructions regarding this one.
4.
To minimize chances of swaying, make sure your
trailer is front heavy.
5.
Make sure the cargo on your trailer is secured so
they won’t shift.
6.
Make sure you have the necessary towing harness
with trailer lights.
7.
You might also want to use trailer brakes for
larger loads. Don’t tie in your trailer brakes to your regular breaking system
as it may result in inadequate braking.
